  2. Update report export to modern file type

    Would be great if we could get exported reports to use a more modern file type (.XLSX vs .XLS). .XLSX has been around since Office 2007. Our security policies are having issues with the older file types. Have to go through a bunch of steps to open and be able to manipulate the data. Thanks

  3. We would like to be able report on the average time per assignee and next action for last action.

    We would like to be able report on the average time per assignee and next action for last action. Based on a period of time we should be able to see how long it takes between updates for tickets. Maybe a last activity history added to the issue change log.

  4. Merge multiple reports into one email using report scheduler

    Add the ability to merge several reports into one report that can be scheduled to send to a user. I have 3+ reports that need to be sent out to a select group of employees on a weekly basis (same day of the week). I do not want to send 3 separate emails to each user with an attached excel file. It would be ideal to be able to schedule 3 or more report attachments to be sent out in one email.

  5. Group related queries and reports similar to a folder/file structure - drag and drop

    We have long lists of queries and reports. It would be ideal to be able to drag and drop related queries and reports into a folder to organize them, similar to a Windows Explorer folder/file structure. Having to scroll through a really long list of queries and reports that are listed alphabetically can be cumbersome.

  6. Provide the ability to modify report headings - better visibility on issue/task status

    Provide the ability to modify the report headings. Customize-able reports to allow adding or removing column headings, and the ability to link headings to task manager items.

    This would provide the ability to identify tasks that are currently being worked on. Great visibility for managers to see where active issues are at in task manager or issues.

  7. Add null placeholders for values in reports

    This would allow for an easier time of moving data to a larger chart in order to obtain a bigger picture without consuming the time of manually putting in data and attempting to skip lines as needed.

  8. Add Issue last Status and Substatus change date/time

    Add a date/time field fro bot status and sub status last change date time. This would allow us to report on issues that have not changed status in x days.

    unfortunately the last activity date changes when notes are added therefore it does not accurately represent how long an issue has had the current status/substatus.

    Support was unable to find a way to use the change log to accurately get us a list of issues that were pending since for more than x days using the change log.

  10. Ability to run a query for a specific issue without editing the filter each time

    It would be great to have the ability to run a standard query for a specific issue without editing filter each time. Similar to functionality available with summary reports where you can specify the Date range without editing the report.

  11. Reports export to Excel Clutter

    Please fix descriptions when reports are exported to Excel. They look bunched up even when the description width is changed.

  12. Add way to change assignment and priority from a list of issues

    I was working with a customer yesterday and they requested that we add a management report that would allow us to change assignment and priority directly from the display. They had seen a similar capability in another product and wished it was in Issuetrak.

    The list allowed you to drag and drop issues to a list of users for assignment and allow you to change the priority of the issue right on the page.

    At a minimum it would be great just to display a list of issues grouped by the assignee and allow a manager to change the priority…

  13. Ability to Specify the Time of Day that Scheduled Reports Are Sent

    Currently our scheduled reports are all sent at 4:00 AM on the scheduled day, but we would like to be able to specify the time of day they are sent in order to maximize visibility.

  15. Please remove the Reports section from My Issues..

    In the My Issues section, some users would like the option to not display the Reports section to users. If we could make this optional it would be helpful.

    It also could be helpful to move the section to the top bar header as a menu option. It would make getting to reports easier in the product.

  16. Add ‘Project Category’ to ‘Issues/Notes’ Data Set

    This would allow to Group Issues and Notes by Project Category. You can add (and report) one higher level above Project by Contract.

    Currently to produce a set of reports that have to be presented to our customers is a real labourious task. Exporting multiple reports, reformatting to show charts Graphs and the data sets we want, then actually creating the report that is at an acceptable standard.

    Querying needs to be improved to the point where you can join data from multiple tables

    Export - Summary reports need to be able to be exported, additional export formats - HTML - PDF.

  18. Allow to suppress the Header (Report Name, Title, Description, etc) from the top of the reports on screen. It is taking up too much room.

    We are working from the report on screen to work on issues assigned to us. We wish that we could turn off the header that is taking up approx. 12 lines on screen. This should be optional whether to display this information on screen or not.

  19. It was be great to allow the export of reports by XML

    Reports on screen are great. But what someone wanted to display report data on a dedicated screen? If a report could be exported via XML, then data could be styled via XSLT.

    Bonus points if you could create like a GUID in that XML URL so deal with authentication issues. For example, reports.issuetrak.com/report123?{555-55-55555-5555} would link to a previously defined report in a list and return the values. Optional of course.
