  2. Prompt for Current Password on the Change Password page is confusing

    On the Change Password page to change a user's password, it prompts for "Your current password (to authorize the change)". This can be confusing for admins, as it is sometimes interpreted as asking for the password of the user for which the password is being reset. It would be helpful if the wording more clearly indicated that the current password is the password of the admin that is currently performing the password reset.

  3. Move the "Email Settings" (for Outgoing Email) in the menu to be located next to "Incoming Email" instead of under System Settings.

    It would be more intuitive to have the settings for Outgoing Email in the same menu location as the settings for Incoming Email.

  4. Allow attachments to be renamed

    We rely on screenshots and PDF attachments. But we need to be able to rename to appropriate titles based on the information in the screenshot. Often we receive screenshots from users that are simply named Image1.jpg. We need to be able to rename them inside the ticket.

  7. Edit Fields that Display in the List of Tickets for an Assignee

    Right now, when you open a specific list of tickets by Assignee, a predefined set of fields displays (Request #, Status, Opened, Submitted By, Organization, Assigned To, Next Action, Subject, Priority, Severity, Request Type, Last Activity). It would be great it we could customize the fields that display in the lists.

  9. Ability to select Issue/Ticket 'Organisation' based on any part of Organisation Name

    When entering an Issue/Ticket, currently the Organisation name is only selectable if you type the exact first letters of an existing Organisation name. Change so instead Organisations can be searched mid-string for values.
    e.g. Organisation “The Learning Place (GJ Smith)” is currently only selectable if you type 'Th...'. Instead, it should be visible for selection if the user types 'Th..', or 'Lea...', or 'Smi..' etc.

  10. Can you add a dataset so a report can be generated listing restricted items in Issuetrak

    There are a couple of configuration datasets in the Report Writer. Can you add one that list all restricted items, Tasks Groups, Quick Picks, Issue Types, and Knowledge Base Articles? The output should include the name of the item, the type of item and the list of restricted groups and organizations.

  11. Add user to email distribution of an issue on email issue

    A checkbox that will allow you to select whether you want the recipients of email issue added to the distribution list of that issue.

  12. Email Event Evaluation before sending out Notification

    Currently email notifications go out based on roles and events that you have selected in the default distribution. This causes multiple notifications on simple actions like adding a note and closing an issue.

    Suggestion:
    - have a process where you can prioritize events over others when multiple simultaneous actions create notifications. Example: prioritize close over note so that when an issue is closed with a note, it will only send out the 'On Close' notification. If an issue escalates and adds a note and closes, perhaps it only sends the 'On Close'.

  13. Allow a task respons of only Yes/No

    I need to limit the task response to Yes or No. Users are marking task with N/A by mistake can causing problems with closing issues.

    Hi all, this has just been approved for our short-term roadmap. That means we hope to have our first round of integration with Salesforce completed and released within a year. Stay tuned for further updates as we move this item through Development.
