  1. Allow reports to prompt the user for 1 or more query value(s)

    Let's say that you have a report written that displays issue data for all organizations using several query filters (step 2). But, you want to run that report and display data for only one organization. Currently, you must create a new report for each separate organization that you want to run the report for. This means coping the query and adding a query filter for each organization.

    Ideally, the report would prompt the user running the report to identify which organization(s) to include in the report. This requires only one query and one report.

  3. Ability to Specify the Time of Day that Scheduled Reports Are Sent

    Currently our scheduled reports are all sent at 4:00 AM on the scheduled day, but we would like to be able to specify the time of day they are sent in order to maximize visibility.

  4. Add null placeholders for values in reports

    This would allow for an easier time of moving data to a larger chart in order to obtain a bigger picture without consuming the time of manually putting in data and attempting to skip lines as needed.

  6. Reporting feature to remove duplicates

    Add the ability to remove duplicates in report writer query results. For example if a query is using Issues/Tasks dataset and including the Assignedto field and TaskAssignedTo, allow the report to remove duplicate Issue #s in the report optionally if an Issue is assigned to the same person that tasks are assigned to. Worked with Core Travel tech on this issue and I'm entering this feature request on their behalf.

  7. Add rolling time periods to the list of available conditions for query filters

    This would allow users to easily be able to see data for a specific length of time without needing to always adjust the query filter.

    For example:
    Rolling Week
    Rolling 2 Weeks
    Rolling Month
    Rolling 3 Months
    Rolling Year

  8. Add create date to report of locations

    I want to create a report of Locations, but because of the number of items in my list, I would like to filter the dataset by the record creation date. Can that data be added to the dataset fields?

  9. Merge multiple reports into one email using report scheduler

    Add the ability to merge several reports into one report that can be scheduled to send to a user. I have 3+ reports that need to be sent out to a select group of employees on a weekly basis (same day of the week). I do not want to send 3 separate emails to each user with an attached excel file. It would be ideal to be able to schedule 3 or more report attachments to be sent out in one email.

  10. Add Issue last Status and Substatus change date/time

    Add a date/time field fro bot status and sub status last change date time. This would allow us to report on issues that have not changed status in x days.

    unfortunately the last activity date changes when notes are added therefore it does not accurately represent how long an issue has had the current status/substatus.

    Support was unable to find a way to use the change log to accurately get us a list of issues that were pending since for more than x days using the change log.

  12. Update report export to modern file type

    Would be great if we could get exported reports to use a more modern file type (.XLSX vs .XLS). .XLSX has been around since Office 2007. Our security policies are having issues with the older file types. Have to go through a bunch of steps to open and be able to manipulate the data. Thanks

  13. Allow to suppress the Header (Report Name, Title, Description, etc) from the top of the reports on screen. It is taking up too much room.

    We are working from the report on screen to work on issues assigned to us. We wish that we could turn off the header that is taking up approx. 12 lines on screen. This should be optional whether to display this information on screen or not.

  15. Inactive Group should not show up in Active Group list

    When Group is marked INACTIVE it should no longer show in ACTIVE list but works the same as Inactive Users where you must click on SHOW Inactive User to see them.

    Not sure if Reporting is right category

  16. In queries, add a filter to return only Linked Issues that are linked to a specific Global Issue number.

    There is no way to create a report that shows only Linked Issues that are linked to one specific Global Issue.

  17. Add Last Activity Date on the Task Tab of the My Issues report

    The My Issues page has a tab that shows the task that are assigned and available to be completed by the user. A customer requested that the Last Activity Date be added to the list to show the last time the issue was updated.

  18. Add way to change assignment and priority from a list of issues

    I was working with a customer yesterday and they requested that we add a management report that would allow us to change assignment and priority directly from the display. They had seen a similar capability in another product and wished it was in Issuetrak.

    The list allowed you to drag and drop issues to a list of users for assignment and allow you to change the priority of the issue right on the page.

    At a minimum it would be great just to display a list of issues grouped by the assignee and allow a manager to change the priority…

    Currently to produce a set of reports that have to be presented to our customers is a real labourious task. Exporting multiple reports, reformatting to show charts Graphs and the data sets we want, then actually creating the report that is at an acceptable standard.

    Querying needs to be improved to the point where you can join data from multiple tables

    Export - Summary reports need to be able to be exported, additional export formats - HTML - PDF.

  20. Reporting on Time of Day and Day of the Week issues are coming in.

    It would be great to be able to get an idea what days and time are the busiest so that we can properly allocate our resources.

    Maybe once it's available we can expand the report against different issue types.
