  1. Add rolling time periods to the list of available conditions for query filters

    This would allow users to easily be able to see data for a specific length of time without needing to always adjust the query filter.

    For example:
    Rolling Week
    Rolling 2 Weeks
    Rolling Month
    Rolling 3 Months
    Rolling Year

  2. Ability for Brief and Detailed ouputs from search and report writer to be true Excel files

    Currently when saving some outputs from the Issue search or Report Writer the output save is not a true excel file but a webpage htm or html file converted to excel.

  3. My Issues page changes to include:

    1 - The ability to create custom tabs that would pull data from a specific query in the report writer.

    2 - The ability to add, remove, re-order columns in the existing tabs.

  4. Reporting feature to remove duplicates

    Add the ability to remove duplicates in report writer query results. For example if a query is using Issues/Tasks dataset and including the Assignedto field and TaskAssignedTo, allow the report to remove duplicate Issue #s in the report optionally if an Issue is assigned to the same person that tasks are assigned to. Worked with Core Travel tech on this issue and I'm entering this feature request on their behalf.

  7. Allow reports to prompt the user for 1 or more query value(s)

    Let's say that you have a report written that displays issue data for all organizations using several query filters (step 2). But, you want to run that report and display data for only one organization. Currently, you must create a new report for each separate organization that you want to run the report for. This means coping the query and adding a query filter for each organization.

    Ideally, the report would prompt the user running the report to identify which organization(s) to include in the report. This requires only one query and one report.

  8. Ability to run a query for a specific issue without editing the filter each time

    It would be great to have the ability to run a standard query for a specific issue without editing filter each time. Similar to functionality available with summary reports where you can specify the Date range without editing the report.

  11. When looking at my open Assignments, I want to look at those assigned to me only; not the ones assigned to the group I'm in

    I'd like to pull a report solely assigned to me, not the group I'm in. I manage a team and am in that group but only want to look at my assignments if I choose to. This goes along with having the ability to choose what tabs show on the 'My Issues' Page. I want to be able to customize that.

  12. I would like the Task Assignee tab and the My Assignee Tab to have the same columns or allow me to choose what columns. .

    Allow As Assignee and As Task Assignee to have the same fields showing or allow us to customize those fields. Basically, we'd like the same info in both reports.

  14. Can you add a dataset so a report can be generated listing restricted items in Issuetrak

    There are a couple of configuration datasets in the Report Writer. Can you add one that list all restricted items, Tasks Groups, Quick Picks, Issue Types, and Knowledge Base Articles? The output should include the name of the item, the type of item and the list of restricted groups and organizations.

  15. In queries, add a filter to return only Linked Issues that are linked to a specific Global Issue number.

    There is no way to create a report that shows only Linked Issues that are linked to one specific Global Issue.

  16. Add Last Activity Date on the Task Tab of the My Issues report

    The My Issues page has a tab that shows the task that are assigned and available to be completed by the user. A customer requested that the Last Activity Date be added to the list to show the last time the issue was updated.

  17. Add more fields and categories to the Task Manager for reporting

    I'd like to be able to track hours per person per user-defined field per month as recorded in the task manager. Currently user-defined fields can only be added at the work request level, and this doesn't help my reporting when the work request bounces from department to department in the task manager. Each task needs to be categorized by assignee, labor hours, date, and user-defined task categories.

  18. Create a database field for Date Labor Hours Entered

    Note Created On is the only field that comes close to Date Labor Hours Entered, but it's never exactly the same. I need to be able to report on labor hours per person per month per location.

  19. Allow a date field in the search to use today as a parameter to find open past issues.

    I need to create a report of issues past due. Past due means that I have set a required by date and I want to show a list of everything that is due today and everything that has due dates previous to today.

  20. Add create date to report of locations

    I want to create a report of Locations, but because of the number of items in my list, I would like to filter the dataset by the record creation date. Can that data be added to the dataset fields?
