  1. Ability to choose how the behavior of windows opening when clicking on links, etc.

    I would like the ability to choose or modify the behavior of how the windows open when clicking on links, etc. in Issuetrak. We are used to the way it was working with Issuetrak versions 9x and when version 10x was released it was totally changed.

      • Groups- the "View/Maintain Member List" option is hard to find.

        The "View/Maintain Member List" option is tough for new users and new administrators to find. The link needs to stand out on the page a little more than it does.

        The link is located in the middle of the group edit page between the group record information and the permissions list. This makes it kind of hard to see, especially for new administrators.

        I think it would be easier to find if it were a little larger and/or bold, or if it were a button instead of clickable text.

        • Scheduled Reports- make the "add recipient:" link stand out a little more

          The "add recipient" link doesn't stand out. Our customers have a hard time finding the link when they create scheduled reports.

          Instead of clickable text, I would like to see that as a button.

                • Email case and private notes prompt

                  The email case functionality within IssueTrak is ambiguous when prompting if private notes are to be included or not. Agents just tend to click OK, as it is the default button, and this is bad as it would send private notes to the end user.

                  Could the message box be changed so that the OK button, the default, DOESN'T send private notes and the user has to consciously press the other button if they want to send private notes?

                  Private notes being sent to the end user accidentally could be a very big issue. We have to train people heavily…

                  • Menu Quick Search/Filter (for admin menus)

                    Above the menu along the lefthand side, place a field with type-ahead that will allow for search of menu items. As the query is typed, the menu items beneath it will auto-filter to show only those items that match the search. Clearing the filter will cause all menu items to re-populate.

                    • Add buttons that send the user to the top or bottom of the page.

                      In the lower right portion of the screen, there should be buttons that when pressed send the user to the top or bottom of the page. eBay and other popular websites have these buttons and really come in handy when a page is very lengthy and contains a lot of info.

                      Detailed reporting pages in Issuetrak could especially benefit from these buttons.

                      • Add a function in the UI that allows a user to modifiy the close-date for a ticket.

                        Add a function in the UI that allows a user to modify the close-date for a ticket. This is very useful for tickets that are submitted "After-the-fact".

                        • It would be really helpful if we could add a grid or a table selection to the software.

                          There are times when it would be helpful to enter User Defined fields that displays as a grid.

                          • Group indicators in "My Issues" view

                            A  user can be a member of multiple groups, and each group can be next actioned issues. In the "My Issues" view, there's no way to tell if a ticket is NA'ed to me individually or to one of my groups. Color coding, a bit of text, some other visual cue that separates groups and individual NA's would be really helpful.

                                Advanced users need to have more options in the My Settings page.

                                1. Change default sort for My Issues page. We use "Sort by last activity desc", and we need to change that EVERY TIME we login to IssueTrak.
                                2. Font sizes. The new version of My Issues screen is very crowded. It creates two lines for each issue. If you're lucky enough to have a widescreen monitor, it's not that crowded. However, we are still mostly 19" square monitors. Having the ability to set a font size per user would allow for more flexibility for varying states of age…

                                • Shaded rows in lists

                                  In previous versions, every other row in lists were shaded. This makes it much easier to locate a record in the list (usually on the right) and follow across to the hotlink (usually on the left).

                                  This should be present in all result lists: My Issues, Asset searches, Issue searches.

                                      Prompt to save data if data is entered in submit, close, and edit screens if the user navigates away from the page without clicking update, submit, or close buttons. "Are you sure you want to leave this page without saving?"
                                      This would prevent data loss and making the user have to re-enter data.

                                      • Ability to create and customize user home page

                                        It would be nice to be able to have the ability to customize or create some sort of additional Default Home Page for users via HTML editor. I've seen this done various ways with other vendors, where you can click and drag different aspects of the system to create a home page for the user. For example, say I want the users to be greeted with a list of their open requests in the middle, a graph at the side, etc.

                                          It would be nice if IssueTrak was able to offer you knowledgebase or external content suggestions based on the content of the ticket being entered. I've seen this sort of logic applied in other facets of the internet, such as entering a trouble ticket with a cable provider, etc.

                                          Such as, say a user is entering an issue regarding a broken printer, of which there was ample documentation available that the user could look at to service their own problem. Would be nice if issuetrak could pop up with some suggestions saying "I see you're having a problem with your…
