  1. Ability to select future dates by selecting a variable (two weeks) for QPs or Recurring Issues

One great feature improvement that, I think, could add great value and possibly introduce new ways of using QPs is to add the ability to prefill date fields. Similar to how the search allows you to search by "this week" or "this month" or how schedule reports allow you to specify "biweekly" or "monthly".
In QuickPicks on the date fields, like 'target date' have the ability to select 'One Week', 'Two Weeks', or 'Next Month'. This way regardless of whatever day a QP is submitted it will auto-populate the 'target date' or whatever date field correctly with the future date…

  2. Add Categories for Quick picks

Quick picks are very useful but can easily get out-of-control with a large number of thems. Adding the ability to categorize Quick Picks and allow that functionality during issue submission can greatly improve the user experience.

  3. Tiered Quick Pick selection

-Add Ability to select an initial Quick Pick type, e.g. HR
-The next dropdown would allow the user to select from the list of HR quickpicks.
    -Similar to how Subtypes function
-Feature request was originally mentioned by Regenstrief Institute

  6. Deactivate quick picks

Adding a method for deactivating quick picks would be extremely helpful. When workflow changes, there's no way to prevent users from selecting old/outdated quick picks. Old/outdated quick picks also clutter up the dropdown list and make the application harder to use.

  7. Use Department for Restrict To

In every instance there is a "Restrict To" capability (Issue Types, Quick Picks, etc..). You can only select Organization or Groups, but it would be nice to be able to restrict to a Department as well. This would eliminate having to create groups for a department, which in some cases is cumbersome, or at least already done in Active Directory. Alternatively, the ability to map Active Directory groups to IssueTrak groups would also accomplish a similar goal. Ideally, both would be implemented to maximize flexibility.

  8. Allow searching and sorting issues based on which QuickPick created them

We have dozens and dozens of QuickPicks in our internal Issuetrak site where we do a lot of workflow. It would be nice to know if there are QuickPicks that are not being used anymore. And it would be good to see which ones are used the most. There doesn't seem to be a way to do that now. Perhaps if there were a QuickPick identifier associated with each issue, we could get that information.

  9. search feature on quick pick page

We have multiple pages of quick picks set up for use across our organization. When I need to make an update, I have to page through them to find what I want. It would be very beneficial to be able to search on the name and only return those that I need to work on.

  10. Task Group Changes Should Automatically Update In Quick Picks

When a change is made to a task group (assignee, conditions, order, etc) they should be automatically updated in any Quick Pick that uses that task group.

When making a change to a task group, it doubles my work as I need to duplicate the changes in any Quick Pick using that task group.

  11. I would like to see a display order option for quick picks

It would be very helpful to be able to organize quick picks by display order rather than alphabetically. You have the option on issue types and sub types

  12. Allow "Restrict To" to be updated when quick pick, recurring issue, or task group is created before saving

Allow "Restrict To" to be updated when quick pick, recurring issue, or task group is created before saving so you don't have to go back into it to add the restrictions.

  15. Add --Enterer-- as an "Assign To" option for Quick Picks

Currently, we have the option to select --Submitter-- as the "Assigned To" on a Quick Pick.

--Submitter-- only helps if the Submitter can be assigned issues.
--Enterer-- works in conjunction with the permission "Can Submit on behalf of other users".

There are scenarios that --Submitter-- covers that Enterer does not.
