  1. Ability for admin to LOCK Global Issue settings

    The ability for admin to LOCK Global Issue settings so that users are not able to accidentally choose the wrong settings / permissions when creating the global issue.

    • Make the global issue number a link

      Make it so you can select the global issue number and it will automatically link you to that issue page.

      • Make more fields editable on the "Link this Issue to Global Ticket" Submit page, such as Subject, Project, Asset, Subject, UDFs, etc

        Users need to update information on a child issue, to report problems within other areas or with other assets. In some cases, the Global issue may not even have the same information related to the new issue if this is a link only option. My suggestion would be to only lock fields that are cascaded down from the Global Settings.

        • Ability for Open Global Issues to be displayed as a ticker on top of Issuetrak browser window

          Give end users better visibility into open Global Issues. Is it possible to have a ticker scroll across the top of the main window of Issuetrak browser to display information about a known open Global Issue. Or can we have a static posting of open Global issues in this area to make it easy to see.

            • global incident should list asset list alongside linked Incidents.

              Linked Incidents list within Global Issues should also list associated asset.

              • Allow drag and drop to create global issues and linked issues.

                I would like to create a global issue by selecting multiple issues from the current view - typically issues assigned to me (either by using a new check box field to select the row, or holding the CTRL key to select multiple rows). Then dragging those rows on to another Issue number. This would make the issue dragged onto global, and link the one's dragged to it.

                • Ability to customize linked issue settings per Global Issue

                  I would like to see the ability to change the default linked issue settings per Global. Right now I can only override, which disables all settings. It would be helpful to change those settings per Global issue, dependent upon need.

                  • Linked issue details rolling up to Global option

                    Within in our Organization, the Global issue is our "working" ticket and each linked issue represents the "trouble" tickets. It would be great if there were an option on each Global ticket for the details entered into the linked issues to roll up to global so that we don't have to go into each linked issue to determine if there have been additional details added.

                    • add the ticket status for linked tickets to the Global ticket screen

                      It would be really helpful to see the status of a linked ticket within the Global Ticket screen. Right now I have to click on each one to see if it is open or closed.

                      • Ability for all users to view Global issue records from "My Issues" page

                        It would be great to give all users the ability to view all Global issues from "My Issues" page (whether users belong to Internal Organization or not) when checkbox for view by "All users in all organizations" is selected.

                        Currently, it is limited to just being listed on the My Issues screen. And only end users in an Internal Org are able to see all of the appropriate(submitted by users in that Internal Org) Global Issues listed as expected.

                        • Allow Closed Issues to be linked to a Global Issue

                          We need ability to add Closed issues to a Global Issue. If we find an issue that may need to be pushed out to clients and more than one client has already reported, one open and one closed, we should be able to link it. We have to first reopen the issue, everyone gets an email, add it, reclose it, everyone gets an email. This would save a lot of extra work.

                              Need to see additional details to determine whether issues should be linked to a global, eg ‘date submitted’; 'submitted by'; ‘assigned to’.

                              Should be able to ‘select all’ for search results vs. clicking each individual issue.

                              Users with non-admin permissions should be able to unlink issues from global after they review the notes in the issue.

                              • Linking Issues with other Issues without escalating to a Global Issue

                                We would like to have the ability to link any issue with another issue but not require it to be escalated as a Global Issue for the entire organization to see it. There are multiple tickets submitted on a similar topic that it would be nice just have the ability to link to one main ticket for ease of monitoring but not have it escalate to a Global Issue status where anyone in the Organization can see.
